🐾 Capybara Pendant – Handmade Amigurumi

This pendant has a very special story. It originated from a request by a boy who wanted to give his aunt a capybara because she loves them. This was my second attempt, as he was looking for a large plush toy, and this one wasn't large enough 😅. Instead of discarding it, I added the yarn and transformed it into an adorable car pendant.

  • How to care for your piece?

🧵 How to care for your hand-knitted amigurumi

    Gentle cleaning:

    • Avoid the washing machine and dryer.

    • Clean it with a damp cloth or a sponge with cold water and a little neutral soap.

    • For small stains, rub gently and let air dry.

    Deep cleaning (only if necessary):

    • Hand wash it in cold water with mild soap.

    • Do not twist the piece, squeeze it by pressing carefully.

    • Dry it on a towel, shaping it with your hands and leaving it in the open air (out of direct sunlight).

    Storage:

    • Store it in a cool, dry place.

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to prevent the colors from fading.

    • If you store it for a long time, keep it in a cloth bag (not plastic).

    Daily use:

    • Remember that it is a handcrafted piece, so it is not designed as a rough toy.

    • Treat it with care so that it lasts for many years.
